"Paul" the Psychic Octopus has Predicted the finals of the fifa worldcup 2010. According to the psychic octopus, Spain will be holding the trophy of this years fifa worldcup.
Till date Paul has successfully predicted 10 out 12 matches related to Germany. Before, Paul also predicted the outcomes of UEFA Cup where it successfully predicted 4 out of 6 matches.
After the semi-finals, angry German fans threatened to cook the octopus and eat it. In response, Spanish prime minister Jose Zapatero jokingly offered to send Paul official state protection, and the Industry Minister Miguel Sebastian called for Paul to be given safe haven in Spain.
